1.) Is blogging different from “regular” writing that happens on paper? If you think it is different, describe how. If it is not different, why not? How is it the same as writing on paper?

i think it is differant because everyone can see it, not just the people in the same school or what ever… i have comments from people all around the world!! it’s a lot differant to just normal wrighting on paper. i like it beter because you can listen to music while your doing it :P 

2.) The second question I have for you concentrates on your personal learning network. We will be getting ready next week for another PLN conference. So my question for you to get you thinking about this is: what is the advantage of having a PLN filled with blogs that are mostly selected by you? How can it make learning different? Is it OK that we are all reading different things and learning different things? Are classrooms supposed to be about everyone learning the same thing?

i don’t really get what the question is :S

i have a dog called rocks. he is kinda old because we got him when i was 3! he is a great dog, he guards the house when we are out and he protects me. when i was little we had a playground and when ever i went down he had 2 come and he always sleeps just outside my bedroom door. but it is sad because we MIGHT have to get him put down  :( we are going to the vet tonight after school! i’m scared to take him because just in case it is bad news.

well fingers crossed!!! hope he will be ok!

i’m reading a bOOk called “sally marshel is nOt an alien” it’s instead Of “the dOns.” i like it heaps because, it’s very differant tO a lOt Of Other bOOks, it’s all abOut this girl called “Pip” she is trying tO prOve tO the schOOl bully “rhOnie” and the whOle schOOl that sally marshel is nOt an alien!!! pip and rhOnie made a bet, and if pip wOn she wOuld win rhOnie’s telescOpe and if rhOnie wOn she wOuld win pip’s roller blades. Over a week pip really gets tO knOw the marshels. she finds Out things that she isn’t ment tO knOw and she cOuld easily win the bet if she tOld everyOne but that wOuld give the marshels away! and her friend ship with sally was sO strOng that she wasn’t willing tO give them away, she wOuld prefer tO lOse her rOller blades rather than lOse her new friend!!

in the week pip: gOt tO knOw sally and gran really well, she had been rescued frOm rhOnie by wayne On his mOtOr bike, she had been healed by gran (she was sick sO she stayed with gran fOr the day), she had read sally’s mind with the help Of the crystels arOund their necks. and she went travelling (she hung upside dOwn On the mOnkey bars with sally and clOsed her eyes and she went fOr a jOurney in Outer space, with Out leaving the play grOund!! travelling was very bad and she wasn’t tO dO it again!) and she had been fOrgivin by mr marshel (she went intO their shed and was lOOking at mr marshels tOp secret inventiOn wich was dangerOuse because it wasn’t finished, and he didn’t want anyOne tO knOw abOut it, and he caught her in there, but he fOrgave her)

any way…. i wOn’t tell you any mOre, if yOu havn’t already read it i suggest that yOu dO!!!

mii weekend was really boring, but it was a bit betta wen i went 2 kelsea’s. on the saturday my team nd i won basketball, yay!!! lolz. then i went 2 kelsea’s, we were up til like 1 in the mornin chatting, :), and then on sundaii we made a time capsule and burried it. it was fun!!

what are good teachers like???

the ones that let us play games, so we can learn but mainly play fun and play games!

kelsea is my best friend. i love her to bits, she is so beautiful in every way! we hav been friends scince i was 4 and she was 2! we met in the sand pit at flinders (caravan park.) we go to flinders pretty much every holidays. kelsea is in grade six this year. she has beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous blonde hair. in the past we have been mistaken as sisters, even some times twins!!! we love to pretend that we are sisters!!! because to me kelsea is the little sister that i never got!!! i love being around her, coz we are into the same things and no matter what we always have fun together!! i remember when i got the news that my cat Oliver died, she was there to support and comfort me. and i was there for her when her nana died. i sat with her at the funeral and gave her a shoulder to cry on! i love and she loves me!! and we will always be besties!!!!

World War 2!!
 
1. What was it like to be an evacuee?
The lower class kids (poor kids) thought it was great because they were going up a class (staying with richer people). But the richer kids who got evacuated thought it was horrible, because they had to stay with people who weren’t as rich as their family, they ran away and things like that.
 
2. What was the diet of people like during the war?
The people in the war needed tokens for food, and anything that they wanted to buy, they had to get each token stamped when they bought something.
3. What was it like in the blitz in 1940?
32 thousand people were killed in the blitz. It was a very sad and depressing time.

Rich and Poor!! 

The cast system in India has been illegal scince 1948. There are three different stages in the Indian casting line. You can do things to go down but there is no possible way you can go up. There is the top group, who are the rich people who have the right to do anything and get really good, well paying jobs. Then there is the middle group, they get all the second hand stuff and can get alright jobs. Then there is the bottom people a.k.a, the untouchables. They have no food, no clean water, no clothes, no where to bath, they have no contact with anyone else apart from themselves. 

I’ve been researching this topic because, i think the caste system horrible and it needs to change!!

The twister came storming up Sydney ave like an angry bull. It ripped off roofs of houses and people ran as it shredded through the park. All the little kids ran fast totheir mothers and fathers, as twister Trish came towards them. Twister Trish did a lot of damage to the town, It ripped the flag off the flag pole and crashed down the town hall. But together the down came over this horrible disaster and re-built it. They all lived happily ever after!!! 

if that twister were in my home town i would be very very scared, i would pray for all those affected, and i would pray for me and my familys safety. i would probably cry for a while but as they say:

“crying dosn’t make anything happen”
